TechnoQuiz


What exactly TechnoQuiz is??

Hypercube brings the TechnoQuiz to intrigue you with interesting facts and trivia.

It’s not just about knowing a lot. It’s about making you feel you know it, but the words just don’t come out when time demands them.

Let’s see if you have the ‘attitude with brains’ to show your ‘aptitude’ in the Hypercube TechnoQuiz.

Let the commoners see that zest in you that puts you miles apart from them in terms of your knowledge and presence of mind.

So, get set to test your grey matter, spur your mind to the core and emerge as the winner in the TechnoQuiz.


Quiz Rules

  • A group of two students from the same branch is the minimum criteria required for participating.
  • After registering, a group from every branch is selected through the preliminaries – the group scoring the maximum from the respective branch in the preliminaries will be considered eligible for the TechnoQuiz Main Event.
  • The preliminaries will be of 20-30 questions to be answered over a span of 15-20 minutes. The questions will be based on GK, logic, basic math, science, technology.
  • The qualifying groups will represent their respective branches in the main event.
  • The top three teams winning out of the above will fight it out for the 1st and the 2nd spot in the Grand Finale of TechnoQuiz.
  • Prizes & Certifications for top 2 spots.
  • Participation Certificate for the qualifying groups.

Quiz format for the Main Event

Will roughly consist of 3-4 rounds


  • Mixed Box – Questions based on syllabus, tech-news, GK, current affairs. Every team gets an opportunity to answer in this round. NO NEGATIVE MARKS.


  • Listen/Watch & Think – Audio/visuals will be provided. There will be identifications, associations & question(s) regarding the audio/visual. And you have to answer the question within the stipulated time. The question, if not answered passes to the next team. The team answering the passed question correctly will get half the allotted points & the one answering correctly in the 1st attempt will be awarded full points. So, BE ALERT about the question asked. NO NEGATIVE POINTS.
  • Rapid Fire – About ten questions to each group will be asked in a span of 30-45 seconds. The group can pass over the question, which can be asked again after finishing the given quota of questions, IF TIME PERMITS.
  • The Golden EggSelected topics will be provided to the groups. Each group selects a topic and has to answer question(s) related to that topic. NEGATIVE MARKS for incorrect answers.
